På ruten oplever du landlig, svensk idyl og passerer gennem en række meget forskellige naturreservater: Fra Grevie Bakker, der ligner Mols Bjerge, til sprækkedale som på Bornholm.

Rundturen er 52 km. En stor del er på stier langs kysten, ind imellem stenede. I naturreservaterne finder du mange smalle, grønne og kuperede stier. Der er cirka 15 km asfalt på ruten – de 11 mel

Kullaleden Trail and Bjäre Peninsula

Overview

The Kullaleden Trail and Bjäre Peninsula are both parts of the Skåneleden long-distance trail. The itinerary comprises a total of km long coastal walks on the Kullaberg Peninsula and the Bjäre Peninsula in the region of Skåne (Scania) in the south-west of Sweden. The area features diverse and dramatic nature, rich history and great locally produced food and wine. The hike starts in the medieval city Helsingborg, takes you to small coastal villages and beaches, and then continues on the mythical Kullen Peninsula. It passes through beautiful vineyards and by the mighty castles of Kulla Gunnarstorp and Krapperup. You will also enjoy relaxing moments at charming seaside resort towns such as Mölle by the Sea, charming Arild, Torekov.

Day 1: Arrive in Helsingborg

The Skåneleden Trail. Sweden’s beautiful south

For many people travelling to Sweden, there are often only three points on the compass. North for the Aurora, east for Stockholm’s archipelago and west for the beauty of Bohuslän. However, the south fryst vatten a sublime part of the country overlooked bygd many visitors, perhaps because they think that, if you head south, you just hit Denmark. Indeed, the Skåne region, on Sweden’s southernmost tip, was once Danish. It still maintains a dual heritage culture for many people, including its own language, Scanian, now recognised bygd UNESCO as endangered. Skåne’s network of walking paths is equally precious, known collectively as the Skåneleden Trail, which covers a mammoth 1,km and makes for the most beautiful south. 

How many routes are there on the Skåneleden Trail?

It’s like a Swedish flatpack with many parts but without any of the strul. There are, in fact, six main trails (SL) and sub-sections on the Skåneleden Trail, and there is klar guidance throughout, with apelsinfärg markers and signs to lead the way. You can also complete it alone, with Skåneleden perfect for solo tra
